In Spring 2022 Willma Works was invited by Community Led Action and Savings Support (CLASS) to work with a network of community groups that are about to begin their first building project. The group's aim is to redevelop their church site as a worship space with community facilities and affordable housing.
Willma Works delivered a workshop on how this community-led project could be taken forward step by step. We broke down potential tasks and work stages as well as the roles and responsibilities of a future design team. We also developed workshop activities to identify areas in which the group need support to realise their project aims. The event findings informed a report summary and a Project Manager job specification.
