A family home for 40 years, White House is a ‘Vicwardian’ detached property that is ready for the next phase – the forever home.
Underutilised rooms, high traffic areas and lack of storage will be reconfigured to create functional and sociable spaces. Key design moves include an open plan kitchen and dining area with a visual and physical garden connection. The former breakfast area becomes a boot room and utility space with a new WC. The property will be futureproofed by adding a ground floor bedroom, wet room alongside retrofit measures.
Retrofit measures will include new windows and external doors, airtightness works, insulating lime plasters and continuous mechanical extract ventilation.
Willma Works has provided briefing, concept, interior and detailed design as well as tender services. The project is currently at tender stage and Willma Works will provide ongoing site support during the construction phase.
